COMPLIANCE AND STANDARDS.
Ryan Damms, Operations Director,, HKL Specialists
This allowed the project team to achieve the design intent for stacked windows incorporating aluminium slab-edge panels, while also developing a lightweight, bespoke Juliet balcony system. This solution overcame the challenge of being unable to install a traditional steel balcony to light-gauge SFS.
Bowmer & Kirkland also entrusted us to deliver further specialist elements, including:
• Louvre walling and doors
• Fire-rated doors
• Aluminium copings
• Entrance canopies
During the build programme, we were asked to accelerate our installation works to support the project’s critical path to watertightness. In response, our site teams delivered 18 weeks of work in just 6 weeks by working extended hours and weekends when required.
This project demonstrates our ability to deliver high-quality façades across multiple disciplines, while maintaining programme requirements and budget control. The commitment of our site teams played a key role in supporting the acceleration and helping drive the wider main contract programme forward.”
