HKL Specialists designs, supplies and installs curtain walling systems for commercial, healthcare, education and residential schemes across England – delivering complete building envelope packages that perform to specification and stand up to scrutiny.
Our curtain walling capability covers the full scope of a modern building envelope: unitised and stick systems, thermally broken aluminium frames and the double and triple glazed units required to meet current performance standards.
We manage the complete lifecycle in-house, from initial design co-ordination through to fabrication, procurement and site installation – producing approximately 500 design and fabrication drawings each year to ensure that what arrives on site matches exactly what was specified.
As members of the CWCT, we work to the testing and performance standards that the industry’s leading body sets – and our design management process is built around the requirements of the Building Safety Act.
Safety and quality
We carry up to £10m of Professional Indemnity cover for our design work – a level most competitors in our sector cannot achieve – and our track record of zero legacy defects across hundreds of completed projects reflects the rigour of how we work.
Every curtain walling package we deliver is co-ordinated by the same team from design through to handover – one point of accountability, throughout.
