A 720 bedroom student accommodation project over 7-storeys in Nottingham with a canal and associated logistical issues the façade had a constant “long walk” applied to our fixing teams around the near ¼ mile building perimeter. The SFS across the total façade was followed with the aluminium windows and doors with associated cladding, firestopping and cavity closure works. A really challenging project but the end product looks superb and the building remains as impressive today as it was when it was completed in September 2022.
Scope of HKL Work
- Design and install SFS.
- Design fabricate install Seniors Architectural Systems windows and doors and curtain walling.
